What is it: Zumba Fitness is a Latin-inspired cardio dance workout that uses music and choreographed steps to form a fun fitness atmosphere. Dance to music with your friends and burn calories without even realising it! Our classes are taught by a certified Zumba Instructor.
Who is it for: Zumba is suitable for EVERYONE. Zumba is truly for anyone who can stand up and dance however, no dance experience is necessary.
What to expect: Zumba classes are an 45mins – 60mins long. The workout portion is broken down by song, each with a different dance routine. While many of the dance moves instructors use are pre-choreographed by Zumba, instructors often add their own flair, dance steps or even create an entirely new routine to their favorite songs.
What to wear: Wear clothing that is moveable and breathable. Also wear a pair of supportive fitness shoes (trainers) that allow you to pivot your feet easily.
What to bring: Bring a towel and a water bottle, you’ll need them!
If I’m pregnant can I still do ZUMBA? Safety is our number one priority, so we recommend talking with your doctor or midwife who will advise you appropriately as they have the best knowledge of your medical history.
