What is it: Using light to moderate weights with lots of repetition. Action pump gives you a total body workout. Our instructor will coach you through moves and techniques pumping out inspiration, motivation and awesome music. You’ll leave the class feeling challenged and motivated! Action Pump is available as a 45-minute work out and taught by our instructor.
Who is it for: Action pump is for anyone looking to get lean, toned and fit- fast. Weights are adjustable therefore the class can be taken at your own pace.
What to expect: During the class you’ll use a weight bar and weight plates and a step. These will be supplied in the class. Don’t worry if you can’t do certain exercises, our instructor will provide options to suit everyone. It’s recommended to start with light-weights or even just a bar. Add two to three cardio classes into the mix and you’ll shape and tone your body in no time.
What to wear: All you need is comfortable workout clothes and supportive shoes (trainers).
What to bring: A drinks bottle (water fountain outside studio) and a towel for sweat. If you have your own yoga matt, please feel free to bring it along with you, although please note that they are provided.
If I’m pregnant can I still do action pump? Safety is our number one priority, so we recommend talking with your doctor or midwife who will advise you appropriately as they have the best knowledge of your medical history.
Can I suggest a song? Yes of course! A Song suggestion sheet will be provided during every session, feel free to write down anything you want. We look forward to seeing your suggestion!
